The Other Oil Disaster

The environmental disaster that is Alberta’s oil sands continues to be exposed.  From legal action to a full frontal Avatar offensive from the Sierra Club, the pile on continues.

In addition to the well-funded “Re-Think Alberta” campaign,  Gap, Levi-Strauss, Timerberland and Walgreens are now calling for a boycott, indicating transportation contracts will be given to companies who avoid oil sands products. Premier Stelmach continues to stomp his feet.
